Scott Parker faces a serious challenge next season if he is to take Fulham stragiht back into the Premier League.

Last season, saw Stoke City, Swansea City and West Brom fall into the second-tier with hopes of an immediate return to the top-flight - but come May it was just the Baggies who sat in the top-six.

Fulham spent over £100million this time last year as they looked to establish themselves in the Premier League but it only served to disrupt the rhythm and momentum built from their promotion.

Now, they must be smart as they hunt for players to strengthen their side as well as fight to hang onto their very best players.

So, what has been going on in and around Craven Cottage recently?

Here, we round-up all the recent goings on in Fulham's summer exploits...

Battle for Mitrovic

Aleksandr Mitrovic was one of the club's key men when they won promotion two seasons ago and, last season, proved himself capable of performing in the Prem.

However, this now looks like bad news for Fulham as top-flight club's circle with West Ham United and Crystal Palace both looking to sign the £30million-rated star, according to the Mirror's transfer blog (12/06, 21:14).

Spurs to move for Sessegnon

During the 2017/18 season, Ryan Sessegnon took the country by storm, becoming the most sought-after English talent around.

After an underwhelming spell in the Premier League, he has dropped down those rankings a bit, but the interest remains and Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in bringing him across London this summer, according to the Sun.

Further Seri details emerge

The Ivorian midfielder is set to leave Craven Cottage this summer but his next destination has been unclear for some time.

However, Football.London revealed on Tuesday that he is keen to move back to Ligue 1 after failing to find his feet in England, striking a blow to Crystal Palace's plans to tempt him to Selhurst Park.
