When the final whistle blew at Wembley two seasons ago after the Championship play-off final, there was a real sense that Fulham were going into the Premier League to stay.

Under Slavisa Jokanovic the South West Londoners were excellent and with an exciting young side, looked like they would pose a real challenge to those in the top-flight.

Well, it is safe to say that did not happen.

Jokanovic was sacked just months into the season and replaced by Claudio Ranieri, someone the club banked on dragging them out of trouble.

But, it did not happen and by the time Scott Parker took temporary charge in April, it was far too little far too late.

So another Championship season awaits and the club will be desperate to bounce back straight away.

And with a return to pre-season not far away now, many of the players are starting to return to pre-season preparations.

But how have they spent their break from football?

The full-back's Premier League bow was far from an outstanding one and he will be eager to bounce back in the Championship this season.

But for now he has been enjoying his time away and, apparently, feeding seagulls in Ibiza.

Each to their own, I suppose.

Ryan Sessegnon

After dazzling in the Championship two seasons ago, it was a bit of an underwhelming season for Sessegnon in the Premier League although speculation over his future continues.

But away from the continuing rumours, Sessegnon jetted off to celebrate his birthday along with twin brother Steven.

Kevin McDonald

Despite playing a key role in the club's 2017/18 promotion, McDonald largely found himself on the sidelines in the Premier League.

But would not have fazed him too much as he jetted off to Bora Bora to celebrate his honeymoon with his wife.

Cyrus Christie

Christie has become an important player for Fulham over the past two seasons and played in 28 of the club's Premier League matches last season, covering a variety of roles.

So it is fair to say that his summer break was more than deserved ahead of what is sure to be another busy season for him.
