Fulham striker Marcello Trotta is set to move to League One side Barnsley on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old forward is currently in talks with Barnsley regarding a potential loan deal, and it could be completed this week.

Danny Wilson's Barnsley side currently lie fourth from bottom in the Sky Bet League One table after a poor start to life in the third tier.

The Italy under-21 international has had previous loan stints at Brentford, Watford and Wycombe.
