Fulham will demand £100m for Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to The Sun.

A host of Premier League clubs - and other top sides from across Europe - are lining up summer bids for the Fulham youngster, who has enjoyed a remarkable season for the Cottagers.

The 17-year-old has moved from left-back to left-wing this season and his extra attacking license has seen him strike 15 goals and notch six assists to help his side reach third place in the Championship table.

Despite his young years, the teenage prodigy has also scooped the Championship Player of the Year award to underline his talent.

But with Fulham trailing Derby County 1-0 going into the second leg, they might face a battle to keep Sessegnon at the club.

The England under-21 international - who is being considered by Gareth Southgate for the senior squad - is being eyed by Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur among others.

Spurs see him as a long-term replacement for Danny Rose, who could depart this summer, while the Red Devils are looking for a new left-back after losing patience with Luke Shaw.

But Fulham will dig their heels in and demand £100m for Sessegnon's services, with the likes of Barcelona and PSG also in the hunt.

The Verdict

Fulham are clearly desperate to keep Sessegnon but I think that he will leave if the club fail to win promotion via the play-offs.

The 17-year-old is already one of the best players in the Championship and he is surely set to reach the top level of the game, both domestically and internationally.

While £100m sounds steep, the top clubs could see this as a long-term investment as they could get a good 15 years or more out of the flying left-sided talent.
