Fulham have announced the signing of striker Adam Taggart from Australia A-League side Newcastle Jets for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old, who is on international duty with Australia at the World Cup in Brazil, has signed a three-year deal at Craven Cottage.
The striker has scored three goals in seven appearances for the Australia national side and has previously represented his country at U20 and U23 level.
Taggart started his career at Perth Glory but only made ten appearances in two years, scoring once.
He moved on to Newcastle Jets in March 2012 going to make 44 appearances, scoring 18 times.
Taggart hit 16 goals in 25 games last season for the Jets, winning the A-League Golden Boot in the process.
The striker made his World Cup debut coming on as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat to the Netherlands and started in the final group game against Spain.
