Fulham had a terrific season under Serbian Slavisa Jokanovic, finishing sixth in the Championship table and making the play-offs.

Heading into the play-offs, the 'Cottagers' were many people's favourites to go on and get promoted to the Premier League, but they fell at the semi-final hurdle when they faced Reading, losing 2-1 on aggregate.

The season as a whole though, despite failing to gain promotion would be deemed as a success by many Fulham fans, and they know that in Jokanovic they have a manager that has the credentials to have the team battling towards the top end of the league table.

The 'Cottagers' were the joint top scorers in the league this campaign alongside, Champions Newcastle United and Norwich City scoring 85 goals, so they certainly know where the back of the net is and shows Jokanovic likes to play attacking football.

There top scorers in the Championship were midfielders Tom Cairney and Stefan Johansen.

Cairney managed to get 13 goals and 10 assists, and Johansen managed 11 goals and 8 assists, showing that they have firepower throughout the side.

With Fulham having quite a few young players in their ranks, they could turn to the experienced Welsh international Joe Ledley to provide that much needed experience, that could be the difference between them staying in the Championship next season and getting to the Premier League.

Joe Ledley - The Welsh midfielder has had a terrific career so far, playing for Cardiff City, Celtic and Crystal Palace respectively.

Having racked up over 400 professional matches, Ledley would bring vital experience to the side and could be used to sit in a deeper role in the midfield to allow the likes of Cairney and Johansen to go forward and score goals.

Throughout his career though, Ledley has chipped in with goals himself, having scored 27 at Cardiff and 20 at Celtic.

Whilst in his time at Cardiff during the 2007-2008 season, Ledley, finished the club's joint top scorer on 11 goals, showing that he certainly has an eye for goal and will play his part.

Fulham fans… Would Ledley be a good signing? Could he make the difference next season? Let us know your thoughts!
