Sky Bet Championship side Fulham look set to extend their loan deal for Middlesbrough wing-back James Husband, according to TalkSport.
And Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has given the London club permission to complete the extension.
Fulham manager Kit Symons will now be looking to negotiate an extension with the young defender who is currently undertaking his second loan spell at Craven Cottage.
He has only played nine times for Fulham, but Symons remains keen to keep him at the club for a longer period of time as they look to maintain their good form in the Sky Bet Championship.
The club currently sit 13th in the Championship league table and the Fulham manager will be hoping that keeping Husband could be fundamental in their attempts to claw their way up the division.
The youngster has made over 50 starts for Doncaster Rovers in his career, before joining Middlesbrough in July 2014. However, his career in the North-West never took off in the way he might have liked, meaning that he has become a loan figure at Craven Cottage instead.
And he could be staying in London for a longer period of time.
