Fulham midfielder Scott Parker could be offered a new deal by the club, according to a report by Get West London.

The former England international was an instrumental part of the Fulham team who made it to the Championship playoffs this season, making 31 appearances in all competitions.

The 36-year-old was expected by many to be allowed to leave the London club this summer, however, manager Slavisa Jokanovic is now wanting to keep his experienced midfielder and offer him fresh terms.

Parker, who has played for Newcastle and West Ham among others in what has been a stellar career, will no doubt be keen to keep playing regular first team football, and he should be open to a stay at Craven Cottage.

Parker will be hoping to guide the Cottagers to promotion next season after narrowly missing out this term, losing out to Jaap Stam's Reading in the Championship playoff semi-finals.

A new deal for Parker would represent a solid coup for Fulham, who have a predominantly young squad, where Parker’s experience could prove invaluable.
