Fulham are set to have a battle on to keep Aleksandar Mitrovic at the end of the season with West Ham, Crystal Palace and Burnley all thought to be keen.

Italian outlet Calciomercato is alleging this one, and you can see why they are interested with the Serbian firing in the goals for fun at Craven Cottage.

Indeed, it looks as though Rafa Benitez might be willing to let him go from St. James' Park after sanctioning the loan in January and that could spark a real battle.

If Fulham go up, they'll surely be looking to use the financial boost that'll give them to tempt him to stay but if they don't earn promotion they'll be on the back-foot.

With the three mentioned sides all on course to be in the top flight next season - and with Burnley potentially in Europe - Fulham really do need to go up.

The Verdict

Fulham are approaching a crucial time not only in their season but in their short to mid-term future.

Promotion surely gives them a great chance of keeping Mitrovic alongside the likes of Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon and so they'll be looking to finish this campaign with a flourish.

Let's see how they get on.
