Fulham have offered a message of pride for Ryan Sessegnon after the youngster scored his first Tottenham goal in a Champions League game with Bayern Munich.

Sessegnon moved to Spurs during the summer, and on Wednesday night made his first start for the club as Jose Mourinho opted to include him in his lineup.

Bayern Munich took the lead but Sessegnon equalised for Spurs in the first-half and after the game, he tweeted out stating the fantastic feeling he had when scoring his first goal for the club.

Fulham replied to the tweet with this:

They stated 'Proud of you' with a black love heart. This shows that there was no ill-feeling towards the player moving to Tottenham over the summer and that on behalf of the club they have sent out a message to the now Premier League player.

The Verdict

It's nice to see that Fulham still have a bond with a player who left them for a bigger club over the summer. Sessegnon is a brilliant young talent and has such a big career ahead of him so it's nice to see that the club is still supporting him.

For Fulham, it must be a great feeling to see one of their youth players go out and do well in one of the major competitions in world football.

Sessegnon has a bright future ahead of him and I'm sure he'll have the support of everyone at Fulham right until the very end.
