Fulham have secured fresh terms with goalkeeper Marek Rodak, who has committed his long-term future to the Cottagers.

After loan spells away from Craven Cottage with the likes of Welling, Accrington Stanley and Rotherham United, Rodak has finally established himself as the first choice goalkeeper for Fulham, with Scott Parker’s unwavering faith.

And, the club and Parker’s faith has been evident today when they have confirmed that the 23-year-old has penned a new deal to extend his stay in West London.

The deal Rodak has signed commits him to Fulham until the summer of 2024, with the Cottagers holding an option to extend that by a further 12 months should they wish.

In 24 Championship appearances this season, Rodak has managed to keep 10 clean sheets, with Fulham adapting well to life back in the Championship and challenging for promotion.

Parker’s side sit third in the table, six points behind the automatic promotion places with nine games of the season remaining.

How the Championship campaign is concluded remains to be seen, with a ball not kicked in the division for two months now.

In that remaining nine games, Fulham were scheduled to play both Leeds United and West Brom – the Championship’s top-two.
