Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic is planning to make a move for Blackburn Rovers star Ben Marshall, according to West London Sport.
The 25-year-old is entering his fourth season at Ewood Park and while he has been a regular under a string of managers, Rovers could be forced to sell the former Leicester man.
The winger, who has filled in at right-back more recently, has plenty of experience in the Championship, playing over 160 games while scoring 17 and claiming 26 assists.
While manager Owen Coyle would loathe to lose Marshall, the player’s contract expires at the end of the season and the Scot has confirmed that he, along with team mate Shane Duffy, has turned down a new offer.
Marshall has been with Rovers since 2013 when he joined from then-Championship side Leicester after an impressive 18 months with the Foxes.
Fulham have made a good start to the season winning two of their three league games, as well as victory in the EFL Cup against Leyton Orient, and they were unfortunate to only leave Elland Road with a point after being the better side for most of the game.
Blackburn and Fulham fans…What do you make of the news? Would Marshall be a good signing for the Cottagers? What sort of fee should Blackburn look to get for the winger? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
