Fulham have received a boost after a bid for Swansea City defender Jazz Richards was accepted by the Welsh club, according to HITC Sport.
The Cottagers and Queens Park Rangers had made enquiries for Richards, but it would appear Kit Symons is now in pole position to land his man after the fee was agreed.
Richards enjoyed a successful loan spell at Fulham last season where he made 14 appearances at Craven Cottage, performing well enough to persuade Symons to make a permanent move for the player.
Symons is looking to rebuild his squad following a difficult first season in charge at the club with the Cottagers narrowly avoiding relegation.
The 24-year-old would be out of contract this time next year with the Welshmen and it now looks like Garry Monk is keen to cash in now rather than risk losing him on a free in 12-months time.
Richards has played second fiddle at the Swans and lies behind Kyle Naughton and Angel Rangel in the pecking order at the Liberty Stadium.
