Fulham are the latest club to show an interest in signing Joe Bryan this summer, with the Bristol City left-back attracting plenty of interest.

According to a report in the Mirror, Fulham are looking to sign Bryan, who impressed at Ashton Gate last season in the Sky Bet Championship.

Burnley are also looking to complete a deal for the 24-year-old, but have now been joined in the race to sign him by Fulham, who are looking to add a left-back to their squad ahead of their Premier League return.

Slavisa Jokanovic wants a left-back to free up Ryan Sessegnon and allow the Manchester United and Tottenham target to play in a more advanced position next season.

Bryan is one man on Fulham’s radar after impressing during Bristol City’s 2017/18 campaign, which saw them finish 11th in the Championship and reach the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

The left-back made 48 appearances across all competitions and scored an impressive seven goals for the Robins.

Included in those seven goals was a strike against Man United in the Carabao Cup, as Lee Johnson’s side beat the Premier League giants 2-1 to progress to the semi-final.

The Verdict

Bryan is exactly what Fulham need.

Jokanovic will want a reliable left-back, who is good going forward and can allow Sessegnon to excel further up the field.

There will be competition to land the 24-year-old’s signature, however, with Bryan one of the Championship’s best left-backs.

It’ll be some statement for Fulham to sign Bryan ahead of their Premier League return.
