Fulham came from behind to beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in the Championship on Friday night, as Mark Warburton's team extended their winless run to five.

After such a positive start to the season, QPR's form has dwindled.

Under their new manager Mark Warburton the club saw a mass overhaul in the summer - 14 players in and 17 out. Most had tipped them to have a tough year because of it but they started strongly, though their luck has since turned.

The loss at Craven Cottage means that QPR haven't won in the Championship in five games - their last was away at Hull over a month ago.

They've dropped down to 12th in the table with it but the visiting QPR had the chances to win the game on Friday. Jordan Hugill scored his 8th Championship goal of the season after just three minutes to give QPR the lead, which they'd manage to hold for nearly half an hour before Aboubakar Kamara scored his first of the night.

It was an unexpected lead but QPR had it nevertheless. Straight after taking it though, Fulham went on the front-foot. They dominated the game from then on but even so, QPR at 1-0 up had the chances to see out the game.

Nahki Wells almost scored when he drew a fine save from Marek Rodak in the Fulham goal, and Todd Kane missed the follow-up. Hugill also had another couple of chances to double QPR's lead but a minute after Fulham equalised, Wells found himself one-on-one with Rodak but couldn't find the net.

Fulham punished QPR for their wastefulness on the night, and fans will rightly feel frustrated. Even when they were on the back-foot QPR showed their attacking abilities, but it was their defensive issues that let them down again - Kamara's first goal meant that QPR are still yet the keep a clean sheet in the Championship this season.

Having to watch such a fine attacking team be so often undone by their own downfalls must be hard for QPR fans to bare right now, as they slowly slip further down the table. The longer that it lasts the more that the frustration in the stands will leek onto the pitch, and QPR could be in for a bumpy Christmas if it carries on.
