In just over five weeks, the January transfer window will once again open for business.
That is in 40 days, with clubs continuing to compile lists of potential targets managers up and down the country will be hoping to land to improve their side’s fortunes come the turn of the year.
The Championship resumes this weekend after the final international break of the calendar year, and with the fortnight off that has just been observed, it will have handed managers the chance to have a prolonged discussion about their business in the New Year.
Neil Harris will have been no different to every other manager in the English game as he looks to juggle preparing his Millwall side for their clash with Bolton Wanderers at the weekend with beginning to finalise targets for January.
The Lions are in need of strengthening in a few areas if they are to claw their way away from the relegation battle they currently find themselves in.
It could well be a busy time at The Den when deals can officially be finalised.
With that said, here are five players Millwall could sign when the transfer window reopens in January.
