Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be in talks with Swansea City about including a number of players in a potential deal to sign Joe Rodon according to Football Insider.
Rodon has caught the eye with a number of impressive performances for the Swans in recent seasons, and it appears as though his strong showings haven't gone unnoticed.
Spurs have been long-term admirers of the Welshman over the summer, but are running out of time to complete a deal to land his signature before the transfer window closes on Friday evening.
Swansea are currently sat fourth in the Championship table after their opening four matches, with Rodon featuring in all of those games for Steve Cooper's men, as they target promotion into the Premier League once again.
The Swans finished sixth in the second-tier standings last term, but were beaten by Brentford in their play-off semi-final over two legs, which condemned them to another season in the Championship.
One name that could be heading to Swansea in any potential agreement between both clubs is Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is likely to struggle for consistent game time this season with Jose Mourinho's side.
But it remains to be seen as to whether any other Spurs players will be included in a deal to sign Rodon, but Football Insider claim that the Premier League club remain confident they'll sign the defender before Friday's deadline.
Swansea are set to return to action in the Championship this weekend, when they take on struggling Huddersfield Town at the Liberty Stadium, in a match they'll be expected to pick up three points from.

The Verdict:
This makes sense.
Swansea will be looking at getting an agreement in place to see a defender arrive in the near future, as Rodon will leave a sizeable void in the heart of their defence.
Carter-Vickers could be a solid addition to their team as well, and I think he'd be a good enough option to step into the Swansea team this season if Rodon was to depart.
It seems as though it's only going to be a matter of time before Rodon is to sign for Spurs though.
