Fresh report suggests that West Ham and West Brom transfer deal is unlikely

Published

West Ham United will not be sending Nathan Holland to West Bromwich Albion if they choose to recall Grady Diangana from his loan spell at The Hawthorns, according to Claret and Hugh.

Diangana has been hugely impressive since joining the Baggies on loan, establishing himself as one of the best players in the division under the watchful eye of Slaven Bilic.

The tricky winger has scored four goals and registered four assists for West Brom this season, helping Albion climb to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.

Football Insider have recently claimed that if Diangana were to be recalled by the Hammers, though, then the London club would send them Nathan Holland in exchange.

But West Ham fan website, Claret and Hugh, have learned that this will not be the case.

It remains to be seen whether the Hammers do choose to recall Diangana from his spell at The Hawthorns, but with Manuel Pellegrini having plenty of options in midfield, it looks somewhat unlikely.

West Brom travel to the KCOM Stadium to face Hull City this weekend.

The Verdict

I can’t see West Ham recalling Diangana, personally, unless they have a massive injury crisis at the London Stadium.

They have got to think about what’s right for his development – what would be the point in recalling him if he is just going to rot on the bench?

At West Brom, he’s playing his best football and is getting better game-by-game, so I think he should stay at The Hawthorns.
