Queens Park Rangers will be looking to record their first Championship victory since the opening day when they travel to winless Barnsley tonight.

That’s because Bright Osayi-Samuel has been axed from the QPR squad after rejecting a new long-term deal at Loftus Road.
Osayi-Samuel has already entered the final 12 months of his contract, but this news comes as a major surprise – with the 22-year-old having started all of QPR’s Championship matches this term, plus September’s Carabao Cup game against Plymouth.
He’s contributed one goal and added one assist in eight appearances, but his future has been thrown into serious doubt following his omission.
