Premier League side Chelsea will not loan out Tammy Abraham next season, should their two-window transfer ban remain in place this summer.

The London club's transfer future is in limbo, with the club being hit with a two-window ban by FIFA after breaking the rules over the signing of foreign under-18 players.

This could mean that Chelsea could be forced into keeping some of their younger, homegrown players, with the inability to sign anyone this summer.

Now, reports from The Sun claim that the Blues will keep hold of defender Kurt Zouma this summer, who spent this season on loan with Everton, as well as striker Tammy Abraham.

The 21-year old has been influential for Aston Villa this season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions and helping Dean Smith's side reach the Sky Bet Championship play-off final at Wembley.

After such an impressive campaign in front of goal, Villa will obviously be keen to keep hold of their star-man for at least another year, with reports claiming that the West Midlands side will bid £25million for the forward in the summer.

But now, reports claim that Chelsea will not get rid of Abraham or Zouma in the summer, if their transfer ban remains in place.

Villa play Derby County at Wembley on the 27th of May, after defeating West Brom in the play-off semi-finals.

The Verdict

This is definitely a massive blow for Aston Villa.

They will be desperate to keep hold of Abraham beyond this season, as he clearly loves his football at Villa Park and suits their playing style to a tee.

But if this really is Chelsea's stance on the youngster, then it isn't in Villa's hands whatsoever, and they may now need to look elsewhere.
