Birmingham City have seen Pep Clotet leave the club after their loss to Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship and it now remains to be seen who they are going to manage to bring in.

The former Oxford United manager left the club after a 3-1 loss to the Swans, with him deciding not so long ago that he was going to leave at the end of the season anyway.

Blues travel to Stoke City this weekend as they look to get themselves mathematically safe from the drop, then, and it remains to be seen who will be in the dugout.

As per Blues source, We Are Birmingham, though, the men from St. Andrew's are looking for a caretaker head coach and not someone that is currently at the club:

The Verdict

Clotet has left and now the Blues need someone that is going to guide them to the end of the season.

It sounds as though they're looking for somebody that can come in and just see out the last few games, too, so it remains to be seen who they manage to bring in.

Certainly, though, they need to focus on getting a result at Stoke at the weekend because a loss really could start seeing panic set in.
