French giants Marseille are interested in signing Cardiff City defender Bruno Ecuele Manga, according to Football Club De Marseille.
The French side are underachieving in Ligue 1 this year and lie in 10th place despite consistently finishing in the top four for the preceding few seasons.
The club are looking to strengthen their defensive ranks in January and are eyeing up Cardiff City star Bruno Ecuele Manga, who arrived at the Welsh club, following relegation from the Premier League in 2014.
He won player of the season at the club last season but has been fairly average this year.
Manga’s played in Ligue 1 before with Lorient, and could be sold in January, especially if Cardiff don’t boost their promotion bid.
If they can’t get get Manga, Michel may turn to Chelsea centre half Papy Djilobodji who is yet to get a shout at the Blues despite their struggles this season.
