Rotherham United were unable to cause an upset in the Sky Bet Championship last night, as they fell to a 4-1 defeat to Watford at the New York Stadium.

The Millers put an end to a winless run of five games last time out, and will have been hoping to build on a 2-1 away win over local rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

But that game was played a fortnight ago, with the club having an outbreak of COVID cases meaning that manager Paul Warne had to miss last night’s game.

Francisco Sierralta headed in Philip Zinckernagel’s cross to put Watford ahead on 10 minutes, before Ismaila Sarr doubled their lead shortly after.

Ken Sema made it 3-0 before half-time as he fired in from the edge of the area, and even though Rotherham did pull one back through Freddie Ladapo’s sumptuous long-range effort, Dan Gosling made it 4-1 a minute later, tapping into an empty net from close-range.

It’s a result which leaves the Millers sitting 22nd in the Championship table, three points adrift of safety with three games in hand.

Here, we take a look at Rotherham fans’ reactions to the defeat to the Hornets…
