Plymouth Argyle forward Freddie Ladapo has sent a message to the club's fans on social media, following the draw with Blackpool at the weekend.

Ladapo scored his 17th goal of the season at Bloomfield Road as Argyle played out a 2-2 draw with the League One play-off hopefuls, converting Ruben Lameiras' cut-back to put his side ahead in the fourth minute.

Plymouth doubled their lead in the second half through Ryan Edwards but Blackpool fought back with two late goals, including a 92nd-minute equaliser from Curtis Tilt.

Ladapo shared this photo with his Instagram followers earlier this afternoon, adding a message that his side were unlucky to be denied victory and thanking the travelling fans for their support.

Much like last season, a dismal start to the campaign saw Plymouth fall down the League One table but a brilliant turnaround in form since the turn of the year has seen the club pull clear of the relegation zone.

Argyle are currently 14th in the table, five points above the drop zone with six matches left to play.

The Verdict:

This is good stuff from Ladapo and I'm sure Plymouth fans will appearance his message.

The striker is Argyle's top scorer this season and has played a big part in the team's turnaround in form since the turn of the year.

Fans of the League One club will be hoping the striker can continue to score goals as their side battle for survival.
