Sheffield Wednesday will look to get back to winning ways against Aston Villa on Saturday after a setback in the week.

The Owls fell to a 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest to end a four-game unbeaten run that had pushed them close to the top-six.

The game at Villa Park comes in the middle of a truly horrific run of fixtures that will see Jos Luhukay’s men come up against Leeds and West Brom before the next international break.

However, they will be confident of getting something against a Villa side that have yet to reach their full potential.

Steve Bruce’s men did win in the week, against Rotherham at home, but fans are still not happy with results or performances this season.

Luhukay will hope his side can take advantage of that and here we look at the XI he is likely to go with in the West Midlands…

Some would argue that Dawson is lucky to be the number one this season, however, he has played every league game and will continue in goal tomorrow.

The right-back isn’t always appreciated by supporters but he has done well this season.

The most experienced defender the Owls have - Lees is sure to start.

With Jordan Thorniley a doubt, former Reading centre-back Hector could be handed his first start for the club.

The youngster could be restored to the first XI after missing the defeat in the week.

The on-loan Spurs man has had a decent start to his Owls career and should continue in a three-man midfield.

The Dutch midfielder is likely to return to the team and will play in a defensive midfield role.

Wednesday’s best player – Bannan has to start.

Wednesday’s top scorer is likely to get a chance from the right of a front three and will look to support the central striker and get into the box at every opportunity.

Fletcher should return to lead the line after Atdhe Nuhiu’s struggles in the week.

The left-footer has struggled in recent games and does need to improve, but he has the quality and will have fond memories of Villa Park after his wonder-goal last season.
