Premier League club Aston Villa have been snubbed by Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone, according to the Daily Star.
The former Tottenham star was subject of interest from the Villains over the past few weeks as Tim Sherwood looked ready to link up with the midfielder, whom he worked with at Spurs
The 28-year-old signed for the Tigers in a £5.25 million deal from the North London outfit in 2013 following their promotion to the Premier League.
He had an incredible first season at the club, and some pundits even tipped him for a place in the England 2014 World Cup squad. However, his form last year wasn’t nearly as impressive, and Hull suffered for it, falling to relegation to the Championship.
But now in a shock twist, he looks set to remain in the Championship, snubbing Villa. That doesn’t end the hope of a Premier League move though, as Bournemouth are also after his signature.
