Sheffield Wednesday are looking to get themselves a new manager before too long after they sacked Carlos Carvalhal just before Christmas.
The writing had appeared to be on the wall for the former Wednesday manager for some time with more and more fans turning on him and the players not really responding.
Indeed, he was duly sacked after the loss to Middlesbrough last weekend but it looks as though he is going to find a new club before the Owls find his replacement.
Indeed, as per Pete O’Rourke on Twitter, the Portuguese manager looks set to move to Swansea City within the near future as they battle Premier League relegation:

This, of course, might come as a bit of a surprise given that he has not managed in the top flight before but he certainly has a point to prove.
Indeed, if he can help keep Swansea up – a side that is really struggling at the moment for form and consistency – he’ll certainly have a few Owls fans wondering if it was right to let him go.
Let’s see, then, how he does if his move to the Liberty Stadium is finalised before too long.
Wednesday were probably right to let Carvalhal go in order to shake things up but it is interesting to see a Premier League side go for him.
Let’s see how he does if he gets a crack at the Premier League in the coming days.
