Reading have started the 2018/19 Championship campaign with consecutive losses in their opening two fixtures against Derby County and Nottingham Forest.

Paul Clement will undoubtedly looking to dip into the loan transfer market in pursuit of bolstering his squad for the remainder of the season.

With the Royals only goal scorer this season being Jón Daði Böðvarsson in their opening match, strengthening across all areas of the pitch will be integral for Clement, if his side are to survive in England’s second tier.

With a severe lack of goal threats, an uninspiring midfield and a lacklustre back-line, a new loanee in each third is essential for Reading, despite looking impressive at times in the opening two fixtures of the season.

With a number of talented players in the squad already, these new introduction would need to slot into the current side, and press on with the season, in search of their first victory.
