Notts County are looking to re-sign former Nottingham Forest man Louis Laing, according to the Nottingham Post.
Mapgies boss John Sheridan is still looking for additions with the new season now well underway, and he is thought to be considering a move for the 23-year-old Motherwell man.
County haven’t started how Sheridan would have liked, losing their opener before going out of the EFL Cup to Scunthorpe before grabbing a 1-1 draw with Stevenage on Saturday.
Laing, who played his youth football for Sunderland, made 12 appearances for Notts County in a loan spell back in 2014 before returning to Forest. County were relegated later that season with many supporters questioning whether they’d have faced the drop is Laing had stayed with the club.
Nottingham Forest fans- is Laing good enough for a return to England? County supporters, is this the sort of player that can help lead a promotion push? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
