Leeds United have come in for more criticism this morning with former manager Neil Redfearn slamming the club for their summer recruitment.

In a report by the Sunday Mirror, Print Edition, Sunday 12th Novemeber, the fomer Barnsley midfielder turned manager said that it could be another waste of a season for the Whites, and believes that the person in charge of recruitment has a lot to answer for.

The summer saw an influx of foreign players brought into Elland Road, something which Redfearn says can be a problem, citing the need for players who can 'do the nitty gritty' and get on with the 'horrible stuff' in the Championship.

However, Redfearn insisted he did not blame the players, and rather pinned the blame at the feet of the club's recruitment team.

Leeds have won only two of their last eight league games after starting the season in fine form, and manager Thomas Christiansen must be looking over his shoulder as he looks to turn the fortunes of his team around when the international break is over.

Redfearn's comments could well be a cause for concern for some Whites fans, who may well echo those same sentiments.

Leeds fans, do you agree with Redfearn? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
