Leeds United head into their game with Derby County on Wednesday evening with a one goal advantage after they ran out 1-0 winners of the Rams in the first-leg of their play-off semi-final.

They certainly will be favourites to book their spot in the play-off final at Wembley later this month, where they could take on either Aston Villa or West Brom if they overcome the challenge from Frank Lampard's side.

Former Leeds defender, Sol Bamba has issued his verdict on Leeds' chances against the Rams this week in an interview on Sky Sports (May 13th, 11:50am).

"It’s massive for all the players, playing at Elland Road in front of those fans.

'It’s going to be a full house. It is going to make a massive difference. I expect Leeds to win the game."

It's going to be a closely-fought battle between the two sides at Elland Road, with Derby likely to pose more of an attacking threat than they did in the first-leg.

There is a huge amount riding on this game, with a place at Wembley at stake, with both sides gunning for a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.

The Verdict:

I have to agree with him here.

Leeds have done the hard bit in getting a positive result away from home, and with Elland Road likely to be rocking on Wednesday evening, I just can't see them not booking their spot in the play-off final.

They'll be well up for this and I can't see Derby being able to contain them.
