Former Football League striker called up for Caribbean Cup

Former Wycombe striker Dean Morgan has been called up to represent Monserrat at the Caribbean Cup.

The 30-year-old, who was released by Wycombe recently, will take part in the three-team round robin which begins on Friday.

Monserrat, who have previously had Tesfaye Bramble among their ranks, will play US Virgin Islands and Dutch Antilles for a place in the next round of the Caribbean Cup.

The finals tournament of the competition will be played in Jamaica from November 9th to November 18th.

The former Chesterfield striker joins a list of football league players to play to for a Caribbean country including Jon Nurse, Carl Cort and Dexter Blackstock.
