They say that the Football League is one big family: once a member, always remembered.
Tragically, today, we learned that former Chesterfield, Coventry City, Leicester City and Ipswich Town goalkeeper; Marton Fulop had lost his battle with cancer.
The 6ft 6in goalkeeper was just 32 when he died.
In 2013, Fulop had a tumor in his arm removed and was cleared to continue with his football career.
Despite this, Fulop has not played a professional game for over two years.
Fulop also played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion.
Fulop will be sorely missed by all. Most of his previous clubs have already tweeted their condolences or left a message on their website.
From everyone here at Football League World, we give our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Fulop. You will be missed.
