After what was yet another disappointing campaign for Derby County last term, Gary Rowett will have a huge task at hand this summer transfer window.

Replacing the likes of Will Hughes, who recently departed Pride Park for Watford, and Tom Ince, who is set for a move to Huddersfield Town, is pivotal for the Rams, who will be looking to ignite yet another promotion push next season.

The latter ended up as Derby's top scorer with 15 goals last campaign, and his goalscoring ability and flair from the wing will be a major loss for Derby, and a move they may live to rue.

The funds from Hughes' and Ince's sale will definitely help when looking to replace the talismanic duo, and one player who would be the perfect replacement for Ince is West Bromwich Albion's Matt Phillips, who is valued at a price of £7.65million on Transfermarkt.com.

The pacey winger made just 26 appearances for the Baggies last term, producing 8 assists, so would definitely add a touch of class to the Rams attack.

Phillips is no stranger to the second tier, having made over 90 appearances for QPR and 94 appearances, where he featured in the PFA Championship Team of the Year for the latter in 2011/12.

At 26 years of age, the Scottish international still has plenty to offer, and although the drop down to the Championship may be a negative factor for the winger, the quality that the Rams have in their ranks is definitely good enough to mount a push for automatic promotion to the Premier League next year.

So... What do you think Derby fans? Do you think you could get Matt Phillips? Would he be a good replacement for Ince? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
