‘Forget the result, you won on attendance’ – This section of Blackburn fans appear to mock Leeds fans following win

Blackburn Rovers ran out 2-1 winners at Ewood Park this afternoon against promotion chasing Leeds United.

A second half winner from Darragh Lenihan was enough to see Rovers over the line after another goal from Mateuzs Klich had brought Leeds level after Danny Graham had opened the scoring.

The defeat for Leeds was a bitter blow, and gives Sheffield United the chance to go top of the pile and open up a five point gap between the teams at the top of the Championship table this evening.

Leeds, who were backed by a huge 8000 fans at Ewood Park, will have been bitterly disappointed to not show the strength needed to complete the turnaround after getting back into the game, and manager Marcelo Bielsa will no doubt hope to see serious improvements in the coming weeks.

Following the game, the Leeds United official Twitter account was aswash with Rovers fans seemingly taking a swipe at the Whites for failing to snatch the win despite making what was seemed a big deal over their following.
