West Brom have enjoyed a fine start to life back in the Championship, with Darren Moore's men looking capable of winning the league this season.

The Baggies managed to keep hold of several big players this summer and smart signings, such as Dwight Gayle, have given everyone connected with the club a lift.

Of course, there is a long way to go, but Moore will feel that few in the division can match the talent that his squad possess, particularly in the final third.

Whilst the priority has to be promotion this season, there have been a few other bright spots too, with the performances of several youngsters in the League Cup demonstrating that there is talent waiting to come through.

Albion have brought through many talented players in recent years and here we look at TWO more who could go on to achieve big things...

The midfielder enjoyed a productive loan spell with Exeter in League Two last season, helping the side to a play-off final at Wembley, which ended in defeat despite his goal.

Now, back at Albion, Edwards had a strong pre-season and scored against Mansfield in the cup.

Forcing his way past so many quality players will be difficult now, but the 20-year-old is only going to get better.

Similarly, 18-year-old Harper has made a positive impression in the first-team for cup games this season, playing the full 90 minutes in Albion's three ties.

In those games he has made a real difference at times with his ability on the ball and he is clearly a talented player.

Again, Harper will have to be patient but those who have seen him play will predict a bright future.
