QPR lost their first four matches of the season including a 7-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns and looked destined for a real scrap to avoid the drop.

Last Friday, however, Steve McClaren's side picked up their sixth win of the season thanks to a 1-0 win against Aston Villa at Loftus Road and are looking like anything but relegation candidates.

The Rs now sit seven points clear of the drop zone but more remarkably are now just four points behind Norwich City who currently occupy the final available playoff spot.

For a long time, Luke Freeman has been the star of the show in West London, often being the club's only source of creativity.

But this season has seen others step up and take the limelight away from the winger.

Here are two QPR players who are currently stealing the show at Loftus Road...

Eze has really stepped up his game this season.

Handed his debut by Ian Holloway last season, the midfielder looked to have real promise and he has ran with that in the current campaign.

Three goals and two assists show that he is not afraid to put himself at the centre of attention either and looks to be a real gem.

Presumably signed in January to take some creative burden away from Freeman, Wszolek is beginning to overtake him.

The Polish winger has really come into his own over recent weeks and looks set to keep his spot in the side.

A wonderful finish against Aston Villa last week emphasised the ability the 26-year-old has in his locker and it will no doubt be entertaining to see what he does from here.
