Sheffield United's season has been a superb one so far, with Chris Wilder's men sitting top of the Championship after a stunning start to the campaign.

Their latest win, a 1-0 grind over Hull City, saw the Blades go top of the pile thanks to a Middlesbrough defeat at home to Nottingham Forest, and it's been quite the rise for the Sheffield club ever since Chris Wilder took the reins.

However, this season has seen an increase in quality on the pitch at Bramall Lane, evidenced by the signings of Oli Norwood and John Egan, but one man who is arguably more important than both those players is loanee goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The Manchester United man has been quite simply, superb in the sticks for Wilder's men, and has impressed after filling the big shoes of Simon Moore and Jamal Blackman from last term.

Henderson seems to have the 'it factor' about him, and he has quickly endeared himself to the Blades crowd with a string of celebrations following important goals.

It's not just that though what marks Henderson as a top player, his performances, including a string of fine saves and brave moments in his young career, have made him standout as a performer for United this term.

It's for that reason that if United do choose to spend some money in the coming window or two, then they simply have to spend it on Henderson, who long term, could be the best 'keeper the Blades have had in years.

Young, energetic, and a top talent, Henderson can be a Bramall Lane favourite for years to come.
