Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp seems to be eyeing the latest EFL talents, with a young Middlesbrough defender seemingly top of his shopping list in January.

Boro defender, Dael Fry, has hugely impressed this season for the promotion chasing side, and has made 11 appearances in total in this years campaign.

The centre-back has reportedly been linked with a move to Anfield as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his ranks in defence ahead of their title challenge this season.

Fry is capped at under 21's level for England and is considered as one of the brightest young English talents, and he would be keen to progress up the football ladder at such a young age.

The 21-year-old could be tempted to join Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp already giving the likes of Joe Gomez a chance in the first-team this season.

But if their interest on Fry cools, who should Jurgen Klopp be targeting from the Championship in January when the transfer window reopens?

The Norwich full-back has been one of the standout performers in his breakthrough season for Daniel Farke's side.

If Lewis was to join Jurgen Klopp's side, then he could thrive under the guidance of the Liverpool boss.

He would be hopeful of following in the footsteps of Andrew Robertson who made the move from Hull, and has fully established himself as first-choice left-back at Anfield.

The young Welsh centre-back has hugely impressed for Graham Potter's Swansea side so far this season.

It is Rodon's first season in the first-team with the Swans and he has formed an excellent partnership with Mike Van der Hoorn in the centre of the Swansea defence.

They have only conceded 13 goals this season, with only Middlesbrough conceding less and at the age of 21, he has many more successful years ahead of him.

Villa's talisman has been the subject of increased speculation about his future in recent seasons, with Tottenham seemingly leading the chase to land his signature.

But Liverpool could be an ideal destination for Grealish who could be useful back up to have in the future to his lethal front three.
