After a strong run of form, Luhukay has the chance to experiment against one of the best sides in the division.

Wednesday are on a run of three consecutive wins as they aim to finish a disappointing season strongly. They host a Fulham side that is in third place, but is challenging for the automatic spots. The Cottagers are unbeaten in 18 league matches with the last loss coming against Sunderland in December.

The Owls are realistically only fighting to finish in the top half because they are six points behind Ipswich Town who are in 12th place.

Luhukay has the chance to try his strongest experimental XI in this match because Fulham will be one of the toughest tests that Wednesday can come up against due to their distinct style of play and ability to break down most defences.

Here's the XI that should start against Fulham...

Wildsmith has been reliable since Kieran Westwood got injured, so he stays in.

Venancio starts on the right side of defence and he has the tough task of ensuring Ryan Sessegnon isn't able to find space between in the area between him and the wing-back.

Lees starts at the heart of the defence with Aleksandar Mitrovic being his main task. The Serbian striker is a nuisance to deal with while also being clinical, so Lees will have to use all of his ability to keep him quiet.

Van Aken has the easiest job of the three centre-backs because he has Floyd Ayite to deal with, but he will also have to help Lees in order to try and isolate Mitrovic which will help nullify him.

Hunt has his usual role of helping provide width in the attacking phase in order to stop the opposition from being too compact while also limiting the effectiveness of their press. He also has to help reduce the space that Sessegnon has on his flank.

Reach is the more attack-minded of the two wing-backs so Wednesday's attacks should be heavily weighted down his side when the central areas are congested.

Bannan has the deep-lying playmaker role which will be key in ensuring that Wednesday can have spells of possession to reduce the pressure on the defence. His link up with Fernando Forestieri will be key in order to make sure that the forward players aren't isolated.

Pelupessy is important in winning the ball back and ensuring that there is a defensive screen in front of the defence which reduces the space between the lines for Fulham's attackers.

Forestieri is the main playmaker in the team, so the majority of Wednesday's play should go through him. He is key in breaking on the opposition quickly through quick transitions while also breaking Fulham down patiently in the attacking phase.

Joao has earned the right to be the main striker in the absence of Gary Hooper, so he will be the focal point of the attacks.

Nuhiu will support Joao by allowing the Portuguese player to play off him while also offering a significant goalscoring threat of his own.
