Nottingham Forest pair Zach Clough and Matty Cash faced off in a game of FIFA 2018 shared on the club’s official Twitter account, in an all Forest tie played at Wembley.

Attacking midfielder Clough took the lead with an early goal, before Cash raced into a 3-1 lead with just minutes remaining on the virtual clock.

Clough managed to pull one back through striker Daryl Murphy, but Cash held on to secure the victory and the consequential bragging rights over his friend and colleague - something he shared in a Tweet.

The youngsters are part of a youthful Forest squad packed full of growing talent, and look set for big things in the Championship in the coming years.

Fans will be delighted to see that morale is high at the club following a solid start to the new campaign, and will hope to see the real life Forest side walk out at Wembley in May.

The Verdict

Videos such as these provide fans with an excellent insight into the player’s characters and relationships with each other, so this is an excellent piece of work by Forest’s media department.

In what was an entertaining affair at the Home of Football, Cash took the spoils in a five goal thriller, and Clough will undoubtedly have picked up some stick from his team-mates for the disappointing defeat.

Forest defeated Sheffield United before the international break and return with an away trip to Derby County in an all East Midlands affair, in a game which will be a serious test of Mark Warburton’s squad’s character.
