West Brom have confirmed that midfielder Rekeem Harper has left the club to join Ipswich Town on a permanent deal.

A graduate of the Baggies’ youth system, Harper made a total of 42 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring twice in that time.

But having fallen down the pecking order at The Hawthorns, Harper spent the second-half of last season out on loan with Birmingham City.

Now, it has been announced that Harper has left the club on a permanent basis, joining Ipswich for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the option to extend by a further 12 months with the Tractor Boys, effectively securing his future at Portman Road until the end of the 2024/25 season.
