On the face of it, a 0-0 draw with Birmingham isn't the worst result Sheffield United will endure this season.

Garry Monk's side might not be amongst the promotion candidates, but they are a solid outfit who usually seem determined not to be beat, even if that takes precedent over going out and winning matches.

Last night they impressed against a below-par Blades side, registering 13 shots compared to the home side's six. All in all, Chris Wilder would have been happy to come away with a point.

That hasn't stopped a selection of Blades fans commenting on the lacklustre performance of some of their players, one of which is 27-year old Oliver Norwood. He was a marquee summer signing from Brighton, but he turned in arguably his worst performance in a Blades shirt last night.

Fans have been quick to comment on social media, pondering whether his performance deserved a little more criticism and, had he been someone such as John Lundstram, would there have been more anger at his outing?

Here's a selection of their responses from Twitter.
