Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa doesn't believe that his side have suffered with the absence of Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford, the trio of forward players currently out of action.

He's denied their absence has impacted the Whites, who remain in the hunt at the top of the table, albeit second and a point shy of leaders West Brom.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he's claimed that their dropped points haven't necessarily been down to the missing players.

After remaining unbeaten with four wins from six in their opening fixtures, Leeds have won just once without the trio available, that coming against struggling Preston North End. They've drawn with Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday and lost at home to Birmingham City.

Despite the manager arguing his point, some fans remained unconvinced. It will take more than a couple of wins and a bit of good feeling to pull the wool over Leeds' fans eyes, too many manager and owners have tried it over the past few years.

They feel he's called this one wrong, citing the fact all three are creative attacking players and pointing to the recent lack of goals as proof he's not right.
