Plymouth fan Dave Sillifant gives his thoughts on how his side are going to fair in the Sky Bet League Two this season.

What are your expectations for this season?

The simple aim for Argyle this year is to get back into League One after last years flirt with the play-offs, however with big clubs like Luton and Portsmouth and big spending Bury and Shrewsbury around they may have to do it through the play-offs, I think we'll finish 6th.

What do you think of your summer business so far?

We've been rather busy in the transfer market after losing a lot of players. Our defence looks good with new signings Kelvin Mellor, Carl McHugh and Peter Hartley all solid at League Two level. In attack, the main issue was to tie down Reuben Reid to a permanent contract and he should be aiming for 20 plus goals, but last years problem of not creating enough chances needs to be addressed.

Who will be your star player this year?

Same as last year, besides Reid this year's new captain Curtis Nelsen is a top class defender and at just 21 if he continues to improve at his current rate is destined for much better things.

Who will be your breakout star this year?

Plymouth are always giving the young players a chance and left back Ben Purrington could make the left back spot his own while the pacey winger Nathan Thomas is ready to light up League Two if he can add some consistency to his undoubted potential.

What game are you looking forward to the most?

The first meeting with old rivals Luton should be a must watch on Sky Sports while as ever the games with Exeter and Portsmouth are the first to be looked for by the Green Army.
