A string of Sky Bet League One clubs have begun forming a queue to secure the services of Manchester City starlet George Glendon, according to HITC Sport.
The talented midfielder is already an established member of City’s development squad and has captained the side on several occasions, although the club are now keen to see their starlet play regular first-team football.
Several League One clubs have already made calls regarding the availability of the player, although it is expected that some Championship clubs may also be keen on the player too.
Glendon has been at the club since the age of five and although he is held in high regard by the coaching staff at the club, he is yet to make his first-team debut.
City will be hopeful that Glendon can go out on loan and develop his game further, as they look to bring more homegrown players into the first-team fold in years to come.
With January on the horizon, a loan move looks to be on the cards sooner rather than later.
