Rotherham United stopped a most unwelcome run after they recorded an incredibly important win last night against Queens Park Rangers.

The Millers were the only team left in the country yet to win on the road, and they finally managed to break their duck at the 19th attempt this season.

Finally winning on their travels could well be a monkey off the back for Paul Warne’s side who moved within a point of safety after the win, dragging Reading and Wigan further into danger.

Add Millwall into that, too, despite their impressive win over play-off chasing Birmingham City at St Andrew’s.

Rotherham twice took the lead over Steve McClaren’s men, leaving it late to seal the win to send the travelling band of supporters into raptures.

Sami Ajayi netted the winner in the fifth minute of added on time after he had previously given the visitors the lead with 15 minutes left.

Bright Osayi-Samuel restored party with five minutes to go, but it was to be yet another defeat for QPR who have lost eight of their last ten matches.

The win was much needed, and the Miller’s fans were overjoyed with their first win on the road in the Championship since April 2016 – after 43 winless games.

Here’s how some of Rotherham’s supporters reacted to the unlikely victory…
