Of course many a West Brom fan would rather Edwards stuck to what he is good at, with the winger having made great progress this season under the stewardship of Slaven Bilic so far, appearing on 28 occasions for his boyhood club this term after breaking through from the club’s academy last term.
With the winger’s current contract set to expire in June of this year, he will no doubt be keen to make a lasting impact for the Baggies during the last nine games of the campaign when the club returns to playing action in order to convince the club to hand him fresh terms.
