Clubs in the Premier League and Championship are slowly starting to bring back training for their players.

For the past few months, footballers have had to conduct individual training regimes in the comfort of their own homes, to keep themselves ticking over with football suspended as a result of the current global situation.

The EFL allowed tailored training to begin on Monday and we have seen clubs utilise small grouped training drills, with the full squad not yet integrated.

Sheffield Wednesday have offered some footage up this morning that showcases just how training looks amid this 'new normal' at the moment, with the Owls executing training with groups of four.

This return to training is likely to be a welcome boost to the players, who will not have been used to being away from the pitch for such a long period of time.

With the Championship still not given a definitive return date, Owls fans will at least be hoping to see an upturn in form if the football does return.
