Steven Sessegnon has been one of Fulham's most impressive players this season after emerging from the youth team to make his mark in the starting XI.

And during training on Friday, he showed his class again in an impressive clip from what sounded like a rather competitive drill - one that Sessegnon appeared to win for his team.

With a small goal set-up around 15-yards away, the 19-year-old floated a delicate chip cleanly against the crossbar, despite calls from the crowd of teammates of: "There's no way he's hitting it."

Cue jubilant scenes in the clip shared on the club's official Twitter account, with Sessegnon wheeling away in celebration closely followed by his fellow competitors, in a clip that will surely bring a smile to the faces of many Fulham fans.

The Whites face Charlton Athletic in the lunch-time kick-off at Craven Cottage on Saturday and they will be eager to carry on the feel good factor against the Addicks.

A 4-1 win against Reading on Tuesday bumped them up into the play-off places but they will be looking to climb higher, with an immediate return to the Premier League still top of their agenda.

The verdict

These are the sort of clips that football fans of any club absolutely love to see.

Real unity between the players and spirits absolutely sky high. You have to say that, looking at the likes of Huddersfield this season and Stoke the year before, that it is impressive how well Parker has galvanised his squad for the current campaign.

With an attacking unit of such quality at their disposal they were always likely to be competing and that looks like it will very much be the case.
